Discover with us, at the foot of the Cuera mountain range, in a privileged setting, the fourth generation of a traditional cheese factory. Descendants of Sotres and Tresviso, a cheese-making area par excellence, their grandparents already made artisan cheeses, leaving their legacy to the next two generations.
Today, the grandson, Aurelio, together with his wife, continue to devote themselves to the traditional craft, albeit with a modern cheese factory and their own goat herd. Over the years, they have innovated with new types of cheese without neglecting their star product, Picón cheese.
That's why we suggest you take a guided tour that will show you the different areas of this cheese factory, the stable, the production area, and the curing and packaging area.
You will be immersed in the family's daily life, see how their goats live, how they make cheese, and even try your hand at making your own fresh cheese. At the end of the tour, you will be able to taste a sample of their products.

At NaturAsturias, we want our customers to enjoy a cultural immersion, teaching them about the traditions and different ways of life of the Asturian people.
We offer different ways to visit the cheese factory:
-Guided tour of the cheese factory + cheese-making workshop + tasting: in this experience, you will get to know the cheese factory firsthand
-Hiking trail + guided tour of the cheese factory + tasting workshop + tasting session: before visiting the cheese factory, you will take a trail through its surroundings, which are classified as a Site of Community Interest (SCI) and are part of the RED NATURE 2000 network in eastern Asturias.
-E-bike route + guided tour of the cheese factory + tasting workshop + tasting session: departing from Celorio, we will travel along the Llanes coast until we reach the cheese factory, where we will take a tour and then be picked up to return to the meeting point.
Prices
-Option 1: Visit to the cheese factory + production workshop + tasting = €20.
-Option 2: Hiking + visit to the cheese factory + workshop + tasting = €40
-Option 3: E-bike tour + cheese factory tour + cheese-making workshop + tasting = €70
-Option 4: Private tour of the cheese factory + cheese-making workshop + tasting = €40 (min: 2 people).
All activities require a minimum of 4 people.

To whom it is addressed
-For options 1 and 2, the activity is suitable for all audiences and all levels. Minors may participate as long as they are authorized or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
-For option 3, availability must be checked for participants who are less than 1.55 m tall.

Booking conditions
As a reservation deposit, you will be required to pay a 25% advance payment by bank transfer or through our virtual POS terminal.
The remaining amount will be paid on the day of the activity.
